There is even use of the bell tower at the conclusion of our ceremony. Wine tasting in the bottom pavilion was lovely, sit and watch the kangaroos run through the vines. On staff recommendation we went up the hill to The Vale Taphouse for gin tasting and an amazing sunset. Then had a magnificent 3 course dinner that was devine. It's such a great set up with staff happily driving you up and down the hill so you can both relax and enjoy your time. There is NOTHING too difficult for their amazing staff, all so friendly and knowledgeable and just make your stay perfect. We came to McLaren Vale for the weekend to explore but ended up staying 80% of the time at Beresford as we just wanted to soak in all they offer. We've decided a yearly stay here is a must...the heated plunge pool on a cold day was fabulous. Service was excellent with decent food to boot. We did the estate and classic wine tasting which both were worth the trip to McLaren Flat.There is also gin tasting from the famous 23rd street distillery as well. The outdoor seating has good views of the estate and surrounding vineyards.
